Description
The research activity is dedicated to the study of the relationships between psychological and physiological components in children. Within the ambit of this strand the development guidelines of the activities go transversally both in the direction of psychopathology and developmental neurology. In the field of developmental psychopathology, the patterns of subjective-physiological-behavioral response are studied in children and adolescents victims of maltreatment, in children with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety Disorders and Emotional Regulation Disorders. In the field of developmental neurology, multimodal psychophysiological assessment is being used as a diagnostic-prognostic and therapeutic-rehabilitative evaluation system (biofeedback) in children with spastic cerebral palsy.
Current Research Project
Psychophysiological assessment as a tool for the diagnostic-prognostic and therapeutic-rehabilitative definition in children with a history of violence and maltreatment. P.I. L. Russo
