Description

The research activity in this area is aimed at developing the delicate and complex aspects related to child abuse or neglect. The focus of this research line is on devastating impact of different forms of maltreatment on children such as adverse physical, psychological, social-emotional, educational, and social consequences that affect childhood and later adult development and even persist into old age. In addition, we are interesting to epigenetic signature that can predict child health outcome with high sensitivity and specificity.

  • Psychophysiological assessment as a tool for the diagnostic-prognostic and therapeutic-rehabilitative definition in children with a history of violence and maltreatment. P.I. L. Russo
