The research activity of this Center is focused mainly on Neurosciences and Psychopathology.
More in detail, our study covers:
- Psychophysiology, focused on the relationship between psychological and physiological factors in the child. In this context, we study subjective, physiological and behavioral response patterns in children with post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorders and disorders of emotional regulation, and in children and adolescents who are victims of maltreatment or abuse;
- Developmental neurology;
- Epyleptology;
- Developmental neurology and neurorehabilitation of Cerebral Palsy;
- Neuro-ophtalmology and low vision;
- Psycholinguistics, focused on the development of communication skills in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
